Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Humans need to stop using as much of the Earth’s natural resources as possible. This can be done by the 3 Rs.
Reduce
- Reduce the amount of waste produced.
- Reduce the number of resources that we use.
Reuse
- Reuse materials rather than throwing them away.
- Use products such as plastic drinks bottles more than once.
Recycle
- Rather than throwing away materials so they go straight to landfill, some can be recycled.
- Recycling makes old materials into new materials that can be used again.
- We are able to recycle many materials by our roadside rubbish collections, such as:
- Glass.
- Paper and card.
- Plastics.
- Cans.
