  • However, one man and his family remained righteous and loyal to God.
    • They were worthy of being saved and they would start the world again afresh.

  • God tells Noah that a flood was coming to wipe out everything. And that Noah should build an Ark to house his family and some animals.
    • God said that if people had the people repented, then they would have been saved.

  • But, the rain fell for 40 days and nights, and water covered the land for over a year.
    • Noah was saved because he was described as “righteous”.
    • God had given humans 120 years to change their behaviour and not one person did so.
