    • Unlike other dances, aurresku is a very solemn dance and usually is danced only during special ceremonies, such as weddings, tributes or official inaugurations.

  • El aurresku se baila por uno o dos bailarines llamados “dantzaris”, mientras los músicos tocan un tambor además del “txistu”. El "txistu" es una flauta de sonido agudo, que toca la melodía principal.
    • The “aurresku” is danced by one or two dancers called “dantzaris”, while musicians play a drum in addition to the “txistu”. The "txistu" is a flute with a high-pitched sound, which plays the main melody.
