Cambios políticos

La época de Franco
- Durante la época de Franco, el papel de la mujer era fundamentalmente el de ser madre y ama de casa. Sus derechos eran limitados y opinión no se tenía en cuenta. Los hijos eran responsabilidad de la madre, pero pertenecían al padre. Las tareas de casa eran exclusivamente cosas de mujeres.
- During Franco's time, the role of women was fundamentally that of being a mother and a housewife. Her rights were limited, and her opinion was not taken into account. Children were the responsibility of the mother, but they belonged to the father. Housework was exclusively women's chores.
Hoy en día
- Hoy en día, la esposa sumisa ya no existe y ha dado paso a una mjer independiente y con educación. Las mujeres han salido de casa y han entrado al mercado laboral. Muchas de ellas trabajan fuera de casa y ocupan puestos que hasta hace poco se consideraban trabajos de hombres. La igualdad aún no es completa, pero las cosas han cambiado mucho.
- Today, the submissive wife no longer exists and has given way to an independent and educated woman. Women have left home and entered the labour market. Many of them work outside the home and occupy positions that until recently were considered men's jobs. Equality has not been achieved yet, but things have changed a lot.
