La escena más interesante de la película
- Una escena interesante es cuando Ofelia y su madre van de camino al molino. Otra escena es la en la que Vidal da la bienvenida a Ofelia y a su madre Carmen, que está embarazada con su hijo.
- An interesting scene is when Ofelia and her mother are on their way to the mill. Another scene is that in which Vidal welcomes Ofelia and her mother Carmen, who is pregnant with her son.

- El director nos muestra el carácter malvado del capitán cuando saluda a Ofelia: en vez de darle la mano, parece que la agarra y recrimina a la niña por usar la mano equivocada para saludarle.
