La inmigración
Los aspectos positivos
- Se podría decir que en términos generales la inmigración puede traer muchos beneficios a un país.
- Arguably, generally speaking, immigration can bring many benefits to a country.
La economía
- Por ejemplo podemos decir que los inmigrantes pueden aportar muchos beneficios económicos, ya que ayudan a aumentar el número de afiliaciones a la Seguridad Social en España.
- For example, we can say that immigrants can bring many economic benefits, since they help to increase the number of Social Security affiliations in Spain.
La diversidad
- En otros muchos países hispano-hablantes la población inmigrante contribuye a que haya una mano de obra más diversa y una mayor productividad, lo que es muy positivo para la economía de un país.
- In many other Spanish-speaking countries, the immigrant population also contributes to a more diverse labour force and to higher productivity, which is very positive for a country's economy.
La multiculturalidad
- Otros beneficios tienen que ver con que los inmigrantes contribuyen a que haya una mayor multiculturalidad y una mayor diversidad étnica, lo que es positivo en en el mundo globalizado en el que vivimos.
- Other benefits have to do with the fact that immigrants contribute to greater multiculturalism and greater ethnic diversity, which is positive in the globalised world in which we live.
La comida
- La inmigración hace que haya una mayor oferta y diversidad gastronómica, por ejemplo resulta más fácil encontrar comida ecuatoriana o chilena en lugares tales como Madrid o Barcelona.
- Immigration means that there is a greater gastronomic variety and diversity, for example it is easier to find Ecuadorian or Chilean food in places such as Madrid or Barcelona.
La música
- No puede faltar el hecho de que gracias a la inmigración suele haber más oportunidades para escuchar una mayor diversidad de estilos de música, tal como el reggaetón de Sudamérica en España etc.
- It can't go unnoticed the fact that thanks to immigration there are usually more opportunities to listen to a greater diversity of styles of music, such as reggaeton in South America in Spain etc.

El resentimiento
- Hay cierto resentimiento entre la gente del país y los inmigrantes, especialmente en épocas de crisis económica, ya que hay personas que consideran que los inmigrantes les “roban” los trabajos.
