- Por ejemplo, al principio usa una gama de colores cálidos, tales como los tonos dorados or escarlata en los lugares en los que aparece la niña, tales como el cuarto del baño o en el bosque.
- For example, at the beginning he uses a range of warm colours, such as golden or scarlet in places where the girl appears, such as the bathroom or the forest.

- La transición entre las escenas de Ofelia que realiza la primera prueba con la escena en la que el capitán sofoca la rebelión se hace con un elemento común, en este caso un árbol.
