Showing Possession before a noun
To show who an adjective belongs to, you change the article (él/la) for a possessive (something that shows possession). These agree with the amount of things they refer to and their gender

Showing Possession After a Noun
Adjectives can also be used to show possession after a noun. They need to match the amount and gender of the noun.
Mío, mía, míos, mías - mine
