    • This could imply that rulers have a duty to govern fairly.
    • Otherwise, people may feel oppressed, which could lead to rebellion.
  • Since Thomas Aquinas, the Catholic Church has used this principle of Natural Law.
    • They have built a detailed moral code by which Catholics should guide their actions.
