Different interpretations
- All Sikhs regard the Guru Granth Sahib as their eternal Guru and the ultimate spiritual authority.
- However, different groups interpret its teachings in different ways.
- Some Sikhs take a literal approach. They understand the words of the Guru Granth Sahib exactly as they are written.
- Others believe the text has deeper, philosophical or mystical meanings.
