How Significant Was the Church?
Overall, the medieval Church was hugely significant.

Daily life
- The Church influenced the running of your daily life, the important milestones you would encounter growing up, provided medical care, education and jobs, took 10% of your earnings as tithe, became the wealthiest organisation in the country and influenced the decisions of Kings.

Afterlife
- More importantly, since every single person was a Christian and believed in God, and the Church had the final say in if your soul would enter heaven or hell, it had control over everything you did.
