Planning an Investigation: Equipment (2)
Here are important things to consider before starting an investigation.

Three important questions
- What will you use to carry out your investigation?
- Do you have the equipment you will need?
- Will you need help from another person?

Equipment
- Equipment may be specialised science items like test tubes, pipettes, beakers, weights, etc.
- Equipment may also be anything you need, such as a spade, soil, toy cars, etc.

Improvising in school
- In school, you sometimes have to improvise if you do not have the equipment you want or need.
- Improvising means that you may have to think carefully and use something else that is available to complete your experiment.
