Circuit diagrams can be used to show a circuit. Circuit diagrams are made up of a combination of symbols.

Battery, buzzer, wires & switch
- This is a circuit diagram that has 1.5 V battery.
- The switch is on and the buzzer makes a noise.

Increasing the voltage
- When another 1.5 V battery is added, the buzzer becomes louder.
- The buzzer gets louder because there is a higher voltage.
- Greater voltage makes more current flow around the circuit.

- If you add another 1.5 V battery, the buzzer becomes even louder.
