Counting in multiples of a number is when you keep adding multiples of that number.

Counting in multiples of 6

  • To count from 0 in multiples of 6, we add 6 to 0.
  • Then we keep adding 6 until we have as many numbers as we want:
    • 0, 6, 12, 18, 24
  • We can keep adding 6 this way to get even more multiples of 6:
    • 30, 36, 42, 48
