Counting in Multiples

Counting in multiples of a number is when you keep adding multiples of that number.

Counting in multiples of 4

To count from 0 in multiples of 4, we add 4 to 0.
Then we keep adding 4 until we have as many numbers as we want:
- 0, 4, 8, 12, 16
We can keep adding 4 this way to get even more multiples of 4:
- 20, 24, 28, 32

Counting in multiples of 8

To count from 0 in multiples of 8, we add 8 to 0.
Then we keep adding 8 until we have as many numbers as we want:
- 0, 8, 16, 32, 40
We can keep adding 8 this way to get even more multiples of 8:
- 48, 56, 64, 72

Counting in multiples of 50

To count from 0 in multiples of 50, we add 50 to 0.
Then we keep adding 50 until we have as many numbers as we want:
- 0, 50, 100, 150, 200
We can keep adding 50 this way to get even more multiples of 50:
- 250, 300, 350, 400,

Counting in multiples of 100

To count from 0 in multiples of 100, we add 100 to 0.
Then we keep adding 100 until we have as many numbers as we want:
- 0, 100, 200, 300, 400
We can keep adding 100 this way to get even more multiples of 50:
- 500, 600, 700, 800
