La música tradicional vasca

El aurresku
- Hay muchas danzas tradicionales por toda España, tales como la sardana en Cataluña o el flamenco en Andalucía, sin embargo diría que el aurresku es un baile popular muy típico vasco.
- There are many traditional dances throughout Spain, such as sardana in Catalonia or flamenco in Andalusia, however I would say that aurresku is a very typical Basque folk dance.
Las características del aurresku
- A diferencia de otros bailes, el aurresku es una danza muy solemne y normalmente se suele bailar únicamente durante ceremonias, tales como bodas, homenajes o inauguraciones oficiales.
- Unlike other dances, aurresku is a very solemn dance and usually is danced only during special ceremonies, such as weddings, tributes or official inaugurations.
Los instrumentos del aurresku
- El aurresku se baila por uno o dos bailarines llamados “dantzaris”, mientras los músicos tocan un tambor además del “txistu”. El "txistu" es una flauta de sonido agudo, que toca la melodía principal.
- The “aurresku” is danced by one or two dancers called “dantzaris”, while musicians play a drum in addition to the “txistu”. The "txistu" is a flute with a high-pitched sound, which plays the main melody.

El reggaeton
- El reggaeton es el estilo de música más de moda en Latinoamérica, sin embargo algunas de las letras de este tipo de música tan bailable y animado sean sexistas y de mal gusto.
- Reggaeton is the most fashionable style of music in Latin America, however some of the lyrics of this type of music which is so danceable and lively, are sexist and have bad taste.
Kenai
- Kenai es un cantante puertorriqueño muy popular. Sus canciones son muy pegadizas, como esta que estamos escuchando de fondo, y una vez que uno empieza a bailar… pues no se puede parar.
- Kenai is a very popular Puerto Rican singer. His songs are very catchy, like this one that we are listening to in the background, and once you start dancing... you can't stop.
