Electricity, current and voltage are important concepts in science.

Electricity

Electricity is a form of energy.
Electricity can be changed into other forms of energy.
- Example: light, sound, heat, and others.
Electricity can be used to make things move.
- Example: an electric car.

Current

Current is the flow of electricity through a material.
The current flows through a circuit and its components (parts of a circuit).

Voltage

Batteries (or cells) in a circuit ‘push’ current around the circuit.
The 'push' provided by batteries is called 'voltage'.
