Internal Fertilisation - Type 2

Internal fertilisation happens inside the female's body. There are three types of offspring development after internal fertilisation.

Type 2

The female lays fertilised eggs.
The offspring develop in the egg using nutrients in the yolk.
The offspring hatch alive from the eggs sometime later.
This type is the most common in birds.
