Conjunctions can be used to make sentences longer. Conjunctions are words like 'but, and, or' for example.

- J'aime regarder le sport, mais je préfère en faire.
- I like to watch sport, but I prefer to play it.
- J'ai un chien et un chat.
- I have a dog and a cat.
- Chris veut être avocat ou ingénieur.
- Chris wants to be a lawyer or an engineer.

- As-tu des frères ou des sœurs?
- Do you any brothers or sisters?
- Oui, j'ai un frère et une sœur. Mais j'ai un demi-frère aussi.
- Yes, I have a brother and a sister. But I have a half-brother also.
Mes examens
- J'ai besoin de réussir mes examens, ou bien je ne pourrai pas trouver un emploi.
- I need to pass my exams, or else I will not be able to find a job.
