Stay-At-Home Christians
Stay-at-home Christians worship at home, often due to past church experiences or pandemic changes.

Worship at home
- Stay-at-home Christians have made a form of commitment to Jesus Christ.
- Yet stay-at-home Christians choose to worship at home instead of aligning themselves with a local church.

Withdrawing from church
- Some stay-at-home Christians used to go to church but for a number of reasons they have opted to withdraw from church attendance.
- The reasons to opt out of the church include hurt, offence or hypocrisy in the church.
- Some stay-at-home Christians believe that 'after all, God is everywhere’.

The COVID-19 pandemic
- The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020-2021 altered the way we live and forced everyone to start attending church services through online platforms.
- Some of those online platforms include YouTube, Teams, Zoom, Jitsi Meet, and more.
- Some people maintained this form of connectivity to worship from home despite the pandemic having ended.

Lack of affiliation
- Some stay-at-home Christians usually lack affiliation to one specific church.
- Some stay-at-home Christians who use online platforms simply hop from one online platform or church to another.
- It has been argued that this is a lazy form of Christian commitment and it avoids the personal intimacy of meeting with like-minded worshippers.
