Bangladesh has a tropical monsoon climate throughout the year.

- Bangladesh has a tropical monsoon climate throughout the year with three seasons that create variations in precipitation and temperatures:
- March to June climate tends to be hot and humid.
- From June to October the climate tends to cool and wet.
- From October to March climate is cool and dry.
Rainfall
- The average precipitation is 2000 mm per year, which is mainly influenced by the monsoon season.
