Expressions Using 'Estar'
These are some set expressions that can only be used with 'estar'.
Estar situado - to be located
- El restaurante está situado al lado de la playa.
- The restaurant is located next to the beach.
Estar de moda - to be in fashion/be popular
- Actualmente el rojo está de moda.
- Currently the colour red is popular.
Estar en forma - to be fit/in shape
- Estoy en forma.
- I am in shape.
