Radically Changing AR Verb Stems
AR verbs that have radically changing stems in the present tense have the same radically changing stems in the present subjunctive. Remember these verbs do not change in the 'nosotros' and 'vosotros' forms.
Cerrar - to close
- Cierre - I close.
- Cierres - you close.
- Cierre - he/she closes / you close (formal).
- Cerremos - we close.
- Cerréis - you close (plural).
- Cierren - they close / you close (formal plural).
Probar - to try, to taste
- Pruebe - I try.
- Pruebes - you try.
- Pruebe - he/she tries / you try (formal).
- Probemos - we try.
- Probéis - you try (plural).
- Prueben - they try / you try (formal plural).
