Regular RE Verbs in the Conditional Tense
To form the conditional tense for regular RE verbs, remove the 'e' from the infinitive and add the imperfect endings. Here is the example with 'mettre' (to put):
Tu mettrais - you would put
- 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).
Vous mettriez - you would put
- 'Vous' means:
- You (plural).
- You (singular, formal).

Conduire - to drive
- Je conduirais - I would drive.
- Tu conduirais - you (singular) would drive.
- Il/elle/on conduirait - he/she/one would drive.
- Nous conduirions - we would drive.
- Vous conduiriez - you (plural) would drive.
- Ils/elles conduiraient - they would drive.
Apprendre - to learn
- J'apprendrais - I would learn.
- Tu apprendrais - you (singular) would learn.
- Il/elle/on apprendrait - he/she/one would learn.
- Nous apprendrions - we would learn.
- Vous apprendriez - you (plural) would learn.
- Ils/elles apprendraient - they would learn.
Détruire - to destroy
- Je détruirais - I would destroy.
- Tu détruirais - you (singular) would destroy.
- Il/elle/on détruirait - he/she/one would destroy.
- Nous détruirions - we would destroy.
- Vous détruiriez - you (plural/formal) would destroy.
- Ils/elles détruiraient - they would destroy.
Vivre - to live
- Je vivrais - I would live.

Boire - to drink
- Je boirais - I would drink.
