Regular RE Verbs in the Present Tense

Verbs are 'doing' words. For French verbs that end in RE, you need to remove the RE and add the endings for each person. Here is the example for 'vendre' (to sell):

Tu vend=s= - you sell

Tu vends - you sell

  • 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).
Vous vend=ez= - you sell

Vous vendez - you sell

  • 'Vous' means:
    • You (plural).
    • You (singular, formal).
