Regular ER Verbs in the Present Tense

Verbs are 'doing' words. For French verbs that end in ER, you need to remove the ER and add the endings for each person. Here is the example for 'regarder' (to watch):

Tu regard=es= - you watch

Tu regardes - you watch

  • 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).
Vous regard=ez= - you watch

Vous regardez - you watch

  • 'Vous' means:
    • You (plural).
    • You (singular, formal).
