Using Brackets for Parenthesis
We use parenthesis to add extra information to a sentence. We can use brackets for parenthesis.
Wolf in the woods
- The wolf (which lived in the woods) liked to howl.
Delicious meal
- The meal (which was delicious) was eaten quickly.
Jimmy
- The man (whose name was Jimmy) was wearing a stripey t-shirt.
Angry man
- The man (who could not fix his computer) was angry.
