Media Industries
Media industries are built through processes of production, distribution and circulation which need to respond and adapt, depending on their product, audience and changes to context, in order to be successful.

Production and distribution
- Media production is the term used for the creation stage of the product.
- Distribution is the stage after the product is completed, where the product is released to its audience through the methods selected by the institution.

Circulation
- Circulation is the average number of the product that is distributed to an audience.
- This can be measured daily, weekly, yearly etc.
- As some products are free to the audience, it does not always refer to sales.
