Regular AR Verbs in the Imperfect Tense

The imperfect tense is used to express what was happening, what used to happen or to give a description in the past. There are two different sets of endings to form the imperfect tense: one set for AR verbs and a common set to form the ER and IR verbs imperfect tense. To form the imperfect with AR verbs, take off the 'ar' and add the imperfect endings. Here is the example with 'hablar':
