Adjective Endings Match the Gender of the Noun

In Spanish, the endings of adjectives are different depending on if the noun they describe is masculine/feminine and singular/plural.

Masculine nouns

The adjective will end in 'o' or 'os' if it is talking about a masculine noun.
- El perro (🐕) rojo (🔴).
  - The red dog.
Los perros (🐕) rojos (🔴).
- The red dogs.

Feminine nouns

The adjective will end in 'a' or 'as' if it is talking about a feminine noun.
- La camiseta (👕) roja (🔴).
  - The red t-shirt.
- Las camisetas (👕) rojas (🔴).
  - The red t-shirts.
