Frequency Tables

Frequency tables show the number of members of a sample with each data value. We can group data into classes (ranges of values).

Discrete data

  • The classes for discrete data should have gaps between the values.
Continuous data

Continuous data

  • Classes for continuous data should be written using inequalities.
