Composite Numbers

A composite number is a number which is the product (multiplication) of two numbers that are NOT 1 and the number itself. In other words, a composite number is a number which is NOT a prime number.

  • 11 is NOT a composite number. You can only divide 11 by 1 and 11 without leaving a remainder.
