Africa is the second largest continent in the world after Asia. There are 54 countries in Africa which have a wide range of climates, cultures and inhabitants.

  • The equator runs through the middle of Africa.
  • Most of the continent of Africa lies between the tropics (Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn).

    • The Atlantic Ocean to the west.
