  • If we have a ratio of miles to kilometres and need to find 25 miles in terms of kilometres we must multiply or divide both sides by the same number.

  • Remember that 1cm3 = 1ml.
  • We can convert units of area in this way too:
    • 1m² = 1m × 1m
