Multinational Companies
A business can be organised as a multinational company (MNC).
Multinational
- A multinational company has elements of its business in several countries.
- Different components of the supply chain can be located in numerous countries.
MNCs and globalisation
- MNCs are typically associated with globalisation.
- This is because MNCs relocate their manufacturing facilities to locations with lower labour costs.
- This is so they can increase their profits.
