Verbs

Verbs change depending on who is doing something e.g talking. (Yo) Hablo means I talk but (tú) hablas means you talk. Yo means I and tú means you but we don't have to write or say this before the verb (hablar).

Personal pronouns

  • In English, we need to use I, you, he, she etc, to show the person that the verb refers to.
  • But in Spanish the verb endings show who is doing what.
    • It is not natural or necessary in Spanish to constantly use the personal pronouns.
