Experimental Data
Biology: AQA A Level, topic 8.2.9
Interpreting Data
Investigations into gene expression provide data on which genes are 'switched on' and which genes are 'switched off'. It is important to be able to interpret this data.

DNA microarrays
- Gene expression can be measured using a microarray. (You do not need to know about microarrays but it can be helpful to interpret data from investigations on gene expression).
- DNA microarrays are used to study the extent to which certain genes are expressed in a cell.
