Adjectives are words which give us more information about nouns. In English, an adjective never changes, but in Spanish adjectives change their spelling.

- There is a basic spelling of the adjective.
- The basic spelling of the adjective is used for describing masculine singular nouns.
- A masculine singular noun is 'el perro' (the dog).
- Normally, the masculine singular form of the adjective ends in '-o'.
- pesado - heavy
