'Ser' means 'to be' in Spanish. This verb is very irregular:

Singular
- yo estoy - I am
- tú estás - you are
- él/ella está - he/she/it is

Plural
- nosotros/nosotras estamos - we are
- vosotros/vosotras estáis - you are
- ellos/ellas están - they are
