Subject Pronouns
Subject pronouns are the words that we use to replace nouns. In Spanish, they have subject pronouns but they don’t always need to use them with the verb.

- You DO NOT always need to use subject pronouns in Spanish.
- This means, you don’t always need words like ‘yo’ or ‘tú’.
- The verb ending shows who is doing the verb.

- tú - you (singular)
- el - he/it
- ella - she/it


We, you, they

- nosotros/nosotras - we
- vosotros/vosotras - you (plural)
- ellos/ellas - they

- We use 'nosotros', 'vosotros' and 'ellos' for:
- Talking about more than one masculine noun.
- Talking about male people, or a mixed group of masculine and feminine.
