Plural Nouns
When you have more than one thing or person, it is called plural.


Adding an 's'
Adding an 's'
- In English, we usually make plurals by adding an 's' to the end of the word.
- pencil → pencils
- In Spanish, we also usually make plurals by adding an '-s'.
- You can do this when the word ends in a vowel ('a', 'e', 'i', 'o', 'u'),
- perro (dog) → perros (dogs)

Adding an 'es'
- If a noun ends in a consonant, you make it plural by adding ‘-es’.
- un papel - a (piece of) paper
- unos papeles - some papers
