Regular RE Verbs in the Present Tense
Verbs are 'doing' words. For French verbs that end in RE, you need to remove the RE and add the endings for each person. Here is the example for 'vendre' (to sell):

Tu vends - you sell
- 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).

Vous vendez - you sell
- 'Vous' means:
- You (plural).
- You (singular, formal).

Attendre - to wait
- J'attends - I wait.
- Tu attends - you (singular) wait.
- Il/elle/on attend - he/she/one waits.
- Nous attendons - we wait.
- Vous attendez - you (plural/formal) wait.
- Ils/elles attendent - they wait.

Perdre - to lose
- Je perds - I lose.
- Tu perds - you (singular) lose.
- Il/elle/on perd - he/she/one loses.
- Nous perdons - we lose.
- Vous perdez - you (plural/formal) lose.
- Ils/elles perdent - they lose.

Descendre -to go down
- Je descends - I go down.
- Tu descends - You (singular) go down.
- Il/elle/on descend - he/she/one goes down.
- Nous decendons - we go down.
- Vous descendez - you (plural/formal) go down.
- Ils/elles descendent - they go down.

Entendre - to hear
- J'entends - I hear.
- Tu entends - you (singular) hear.
- Il/elle/on entend - he/she/one hears.
- Nous entendons - we hear.
- Vous entendez - you (plural/formal) hear.
- Ils/elles entendent - they hear.

Répondre - to respond, answer
- Je réponds - I answer.
- Tu réponds - you (singular) answer.
