Present Subjunctive RE Verbs

To form the present subjunctive you take the 'ils' form of the present tense, take off the 'ent' and add the subjunctive endings. Here is the example with 'suivre' (to follow):

Illustrative background for Que tu suiv=es= - you followIllustrative background for Que tu suiv=es= - you follow ?? "content

Que tu suives - you follow

  • 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).
Illustrative background for Que vous suiv=iez= - you followIllustrative background for Que vous suiv=iez= - you follow ?? "content

Que vous suiviez - you follow

  • 'Vous' means:
    • You (plural).
    • You (singular, formal).
