Regular ER Verbs in the Conditional Tense
To form the conditional tense with regular ER verbs, take the infinitive and add the imperfect endings. Here is the example with 'aimer' (to like):

Tu aimerais - you would like
- 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).

Vous aimeriez - you would like
- 'Vous' means:
- You (plural).
- You (singular, formal).

Chercher - to look for
- Je chercherais - I would look for.
- Tu chercherais - you (singular) would look for.
- Il/elle/on chercherait - he/she/one would look for.
- Nous chercherions - we would look for.
- Vous chercheriez - you (plural/formal) would look for.
- Ils/elles chercheraient - they would look for.

Arriver - to arrive
- J'arriverais - I would arrive.
- Tu arriverais - you (singular) would arrive.
- Il/elle/on arriverait - he/she/one would arrive.
- Nous arriverions - we would arrive.
- Vous arriveriez - you (plural/formal) would arrive.
- Ils/elles arriveraient - they would arrive.

Écouter - to listen
- J'écouterais - I would listen.
- Tu écouterais - you (singular) would listen.
- Il/elle/on écouterait - he/she/one would listen.
- Nous écouterions - we would listen.
- Vous écouteriez - you (plural/formal) would listen.
- Ils/elles écouteraient - they would listen.

Étudier - to study
- J'étudierais - I would study.
