Ma ville
- J'habite dans une petite ville. Il n'y a pas grand-chose à faire.
- I live in a small town. There is not a lot to do.
- Dans ma ville il y a un supermarché, un cinéma et un tabac. Mais il y a toujours des embouteillages.
- In my town there is a supermarket, a cinema and a newsagents. But there are always traffic jams.
- J'habite dans une ville au bord de la mer.
- I live in a town by the sea.

- Où habites-tu?
- Where do you live?
- J'habite dans une ville, qui s'appelle Tonbridge, dans le sud-est de l'Angleterre. C'est assez grand et il y a beaucoup à faire. Par exemple, il y a un grand magasin, une bibliothèque et un centre sportif.
- I live in a village, that is called Tonbridge, in the South East of England. It is quite big and there are a lot of things to do. For example, there is a department store, a library and a sports centre.

La circulation
- Parle-moi de ta ville.
- Talk to me about your town.
- Ma ville est très grande, j'habite à Londres. J'aime bien habiter à Londres, mais la circulation est terrible.
- My town is very big, I live in London. I really like living in London but the traffic is terrible.
Boot Verbs
These verbs are known as boot verbs. The 'nous' and 'vous' forms of the verb are different than the other forms.

Boire - to drink
- Je bois - I drink.
- Tu bois - you drink.
- Il/elle/on boit - he/she/one drinks.
- Nous buvons - we drink.
- Vous buvez - you drink.
- Ils/elles boivent - they drink.

Croire - to believe
- Je crois - I believe.
- Tu crois - you believe.
- Il/elle/on croit - he/she/one believes.
- Nous croyons - we believe.
- Vous croyez - you believe.
- Ils/elles croient - they believe.

Suivre - to follow
- Je suis - I follow.
- Tu suis - you follow.
- Il/elle/on suit - he/she/one follow.
- Nous suivons - we follow.
- Vous suivez - you follow.
- Ils/elles suivent - they follow.

Vivre - to live
- Je vis - I live.
- Tu vis - you live.
- Il/elle/on vit - he/she/one lives.
- Nous vivons - we live.
- Vous vivez - you live.
- Ils/elles vivent - they live.
