Regular RE Verbs in the Future Tense

To form the future tense using RE verbs, take off the 'e' from the infinitive and add the future endings. Here is the example with 'prendre' (to take):

Tu prendr=as= - you will take

Tu prendras - you will take

  • 'Tu' means 'you' (singular).
Vous prendr=ez= - you will take

Vous prendrez - you will take

  • 'Vous' means:
    • You (plural).
    • You (singular, formal).
