Regular ER Verbs
In French there are 14 verbs that use 'être' to form the perfect tense. It is important to note that verbs that use 'être' agree with the person who is speaking and gender. Here are the regular ER verbs that use 'être':

Monter - to go up, to climb
- Je suis monté(e) - I went up.
- Tu es monté(e) - you (singular) went up.
- Il/elle/on est monté(e) - he/she/one went up.
- Nous sommes monté(e)s - we went up.
- Vous êtes monté(e)(s) - you (plural/formal) went up.
- Ils/elles sont monté(e)s - they went up.

Retourner - to return
- Je suis retourné(e) - I returned.
- Tu es retourné(e) - you (singular) returned.
- Il/elle/on est retourné(e) - he/she/one returned.
- Nous sommes retourné(e)s - we returned.
- Vous êtes retourné(e)(s) - you (plural/formal) returned.
- Ils/elles sont retourné(e)s - they returned.

Arriver - to arrive
- Je suis arrivé(e) - I arrived.
- Tu es arrivé(e) - you (singular) arrived.
- Il/elle/on est arrivé(e) - he/she/one arrived.
