Magnetic Field Sensors
Magnetic field sensors measure magnetic fields in their surroundings. Magnetic field sensors detect changes in the magnetic field strength or orientation.

Magnetic fields
- Magnetic field sensors have various applications including:
- Navigation.
- Engineering.
- Automotive systems.
- Consumer electronics.

Navigation
- Magnetic field sensors are used in compasses.
- Magnetic field sensors detect the proximity of magnetic objects.

Automotive systems
- Magnetic field sensors are used in vehicles' anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and electronic stability control (ESC).

Customer electronics
- Magnetic stripes on credit and debit cards contain encoded data.
- Magnetic field sensors in card readers are used to read this information during transactions.
- Handheld metal detectors use magnetic field sensors to detect the presence of metal objects.

Engineering
- Magnetic field sensors detect the presence or absence of magnetic materials in conveyor belts or manufacturing processes.
