Capacitance
Capacitors are devices which can be used as a store of charge.

Capacitors
Capacitors
- A capacitor stores charge by having two charged plates which are held apart.
- These plates have a potential difference between them.
- The capacitance of an object can be thought of as the amount of charge it is storing per unit voltage.

Calculation
Calculation
- The equation for capacitance is:
- Capacitance = charge stored ÷ voltage
