Aparte del idioma español (o castellano como se suele decir en América Latina), hay 3 otros idiomas hablados en España, todos los cuales teniendo estatus oficial.
- Apart from Spanish, (or Castilian as it is usually called in Latin America), there are 3 other languages spoken in Spain, all of which have official status.

South America

También se habla español (o castellano) en todos los países del centro y sur de America Latina salvo Brazil (donde la lengua oficial es portugués) y en muchas partes del Caribe.
- Spanish is also spoken in all countries of Central and Southern America (except Brazil where the national language is Portuguese) and in parts of the Caribbean.

Variants of Spanish

Con razón, debido a las dimensiones del continente, hay muchas variantes y acentos hablados en cada país. En estos países la lengua se llama castellano.
- Understandably, due to the size of the continent, there are many local variants and accents spoken in each country. In these countries, they refer to the Spanish language as Castilian.
